Responsibilities:

• Advising clients on intellectual property matters, including patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret issues.
• Conducting legal research, analyzing cases, and providing recommendations on intellectual property strategies.
• Preparing and filing patent and trademark applications, and managing the application process.
• Overseeing the enforcement and protection of intellectual property rights, including litigation when necessary.
• Assisting in due diligence and intellectual property audits for business transactions.
• Keeping abreast of changes in intellectual property law and regulations, and ensuring compliance.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to align intellectual property efforts with business goals.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and a valid license to practice law.
• Proven experience in intellectual property law, with a focus on patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
• Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex legal concepts.
• Expertise in patent and trademark application procedures and practices.
• Litigation experience related to intellectual property matters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with a strong commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and provide expert guidance to clients.
